Only the finest materials are used in the production of Cast Classics' furniture. Our exclusive aluminum alloy is formulated to create heirloom quality pieces that will last for generations. Marble, granite and other luxury materials are used in table top treatments to create surfaces that are both beautiful and easy to maintain. Our opulently tailored cushions are crafted using the highest quality fabrics available and can be trimmed with piping, cording and tassels to create a sophisticated and finished look.
Cast Classics' History
Prior to the inception of Cast Classics, price points of cast aluminum furniture were in the stratosphere. Cast Classics changed that from day one and, for the first time, consumers were offered quality cast alumnium furniture at prices many could afford. The cast aluminum category took off and is still on a roll almost two decades later.
Cast Classics has been so successful that production has sold out every year since its introduction. Dealers reserve production space months in advance to secure their flow of goods and insure their piece of the production pie.
The original factory was approximately 5,000 sq feet and employed less than 50 people. The Cast Classics factory is now nearly the size of 33 football fields; totaling almost a million square feet, employs approximately 1,000 people and features state of the art equipment operated by skilled craftsmen who turn out product unparalleled in quality and value at any price.
Care and Maintenance
General Rule
Keeping your furniture covered when not in use during the summer season will help maintain its beauty and cut back on the frequency of cleaning.
Cushions, Slings and Umbrella's
The best way to maintain the beauty of your cushions or slings is to store them in a dry area out of the elements. You may choose to cover them with fitted furniture covers when not in use. Covers must be specifically engineered for outdoor applications.) If your furniture is being used in areas where birds and trees are plentiful, covering the furniture when not in use is especially recommended.
Frames & Wicker Weaves
All Cast Classics furniture should be cleaned regularly using a soft sponge with mild non-abrasive soap and water; just as you would your automobile. An outdoor furniture cleaner or car wash is the best type of soap to use. We do not recommend dish detergents as they typically leave an oily film which attracts dust.
Glass Tabletops
Use mild soap and water or commercially available glass cleaners. Do not use cleansers or abrasive materials.
Touch-Up
It is inevitable that your furniture will end up with scratches and chips simply because of the environment it is in. These chips and scratches will not affect the integrity of your frames, but should be tended to as soon as possible to ensure the long-term beauty of your product. The frames of your Cast Classics furniture are aluminum and will not rust. However, exposed areas may oxidize which will make it difficult for paint to adhere in the future. Apply touch up to scratches and chips with Cast Classics touch up paint immediately. Touch up paint can be ordered from your local Cast Classsics dealer.
